Principal’s Message
“Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” St. Francis of Assisi
As per the ancient Indian culture, education means walking with God. Education leads to removal of darkness as we trot along God. Education is an everlasting light to enlighten our minds and hearts. This school has a great vision as to provide quality education and create citizens who will be known for their love of God, love of neighbour and love of the society, the nation and world at large. The parameter of deriving contentment and satisfaction must be this original vision and its concrete realisation. In this sense, the purpose of instruction at school is education that is the development of children from within freeing them from that conditioning which might prevent their growth into becoming fully integrated human beings.
I wish and pray that this noble task of imparting education be continued with the sublime goal of the total growth of the whole person.

A year after COVID-19 shut schools, as we continue to navigate this challenging time Immaculate Conception Convent School Principal wanted to reach out and share the below message:
From grade school to graduate school, developing young minds in close physical proximity halted abruptly in mid-March 2020.
What happened next to schools and families was devastating and electrifying, thought-provoking and quieting, unifying and isolating. Homes became entire worlds. Working parents juggled daytime teaching. College students studied from childhood bedrooms. Millions of kindergartners started school in a format previously unfathomable: Zoom, Google Meet…
Teachers shifted to nurturing and encouraging through screens – with little training. Many hunted down students in person to ensure they were safe, fed and outfitted with resources to learn.
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented a set of real-world lessons too close and too fresh to be captured by textbooks: How does one manage lives lost? Calculate the damage of lost income? Measure new levels of mental fatigue? Over the course of an extraordinary year, here’s what we’ve learned.
“Everything is not pencil, paper, rote memorization and writing on the dry-erase board. Also, sadly for the kiddos, it will take away snow days.”
– Williams-Hall
We’ve learned the power of digital tools is only as good as the buy-in teachers and students develop to include them. With hard-to-reach students, we’ve been gob smacked with how true that is.
My humble request to you Dear Parents, Though the responsibility of bridging the gap between dreams and reality falls on children’s shoulders, it is also important that parents work collaboratively with children to develop appropriate goals and expectations. Keep reminding children that the best companion who can help them with all their needs is themselves.
When children discover their strengths, they are more willing to confront even those areas that are challenging for them. We will be pleasantly surprised and impressed by the ability of children to think about effective and realistic ways of managing goals.
To you My Dear Students,
“The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.”
– Walter Bagehoto
Yes, there will always be people who will try to sabotage your efforts. They might tell you that you won’t be able to do it, or that it is not worth it. However, never let their harsh words get you down, instead use them to motivate you to work better. You will feel like you are at the top of the world when you disprove these demotivating people.
“Work so hard that one day your signature will be called an autograph.”
– Tim Notke
Focus on improving and building on yesterday’s hard work and be humble. Every day is your second chance to build on and go up on the ladder using the lessons learned from past mistakes.
In today’s world, there are a lot of topics to think about, and a lot of resources to gain information. Your life is completely upon you. You are the driver of your life and you have to choose the direction you want to move to. Reading will open up new doors for you. It will create new opportunities for you to grow and develop and become more knowledgeable. The more you read, the more knowledgeable you become. This helps you to climb greater steps of success.
Always remember, “Winning doesn’t always mean being first. Winning means you’re doing better than you’ve done before.” – Bonnie Blair
Wishing you all the best and loving God bless,
